A war god, whose father was the Iowa Sun god. He was the inventor of lies, and used deception, cunning, and treachery in his adventures. Eventually, his father banished him from Heaven. Supposedly, Ictinike taught the Native American tribes of the Plains, such as the Sioux, the arts and customs of war. He is associated with war, treachery, and deceit.
