The Jyotisha are an Indian group of gods and the third in the four categories of gods in the Jainistic Work of Salvation, next to the Vaimanika, the Vyantara, and the Bhavanavasi. They are divided in five groups: the suns, the moons, the planets, the moon stations (Nakshatra) and the stars. They live in the space between heaven and earth.
