Lakarol

The daughter of Otis and Lakbang, the first people created by Melú and Dwata. She and Mastafī lived in a small distant place with their bird, Baswit. They sent the bird on a long journey and when he returned he carried with him a piece of earth and a fruit of the pandag tree. Lakarol planted the fruit in the piece of earth and from it grew a tree, and when its leaves fell down they finally made the earth.

Lakarol and Mastafī are regarded as the ancestors of the Bilaan.
