Maykapal

A creator deity of the Tagalog. He is the lord of the universe who descended to earth to correct some mistakes in his works. He raised the sky, pierced one of his eyes because of the heat of the sun, and seeded the barren earth to cover it with plants. Finally he created the stars and moon for light.
