Alcippe

The daughter of Ares and Agraulus, the daughter of Cecrops. She was violated, or was about to be, by Halirrhothius, a son of Poseidon, whereupon Ares killed him. Impeached by Poseidon, Ares was tried in the Aeropagus before the twelve gods, the first to be put on trial for the shedding of blood, but was acquitted.
