Ammihud

"People of glory, i.e. renowned." The name of various biblical personages:

  1. The father of the Ephraimite chief Elishama, at the time of the Exodus.1
  2. The father of Talmai, king of Geshur, to whom Absalom fled after the murder of Amnon.2
  3. The son of Omri, and the father of Uthai.3

Two others by this name are mentioned in Num. 34:20 and 28.
