Bodach an sméididh

"Beckoning Old Man." The Bodach an sméididh appears in the corners of houses, making signs with his hands for people to come to him.

Gaelic bodach, "old man," and smèideadh, "waving" (or perhaps smùideadh, "emitting smoke").
