Cherri-chou-lang

The little angle from heaven. One of the lesser divinities who stole the kava plant (chakau) from the isle of Koto (Kusaie, or Strong's Island). A piece of the root dropped down from the feast of the gods in the clouds, and thus the kava plant came to Pohnpei.

A euphoric beverage is made from the roots of the kava plant.
