Dhorko

A fabulous monster, amphibious, and shaped much like a greyhound but with a prolonged snout covered with sharp-pointed horns, some two feet or more in length, which it used as a weapon. It was said to be at one time common to all the lakes, but later limited to those in Donegal, as well as Connemara and parts of Kerry.
