Fer Caille
"Man of the Wood." In the Togail Bruidne Dá Derga (The Destruction of Da Derga's Hostel), an Irish tale of the Ulster Cycle, Fer Caille is a dark figure with black cropped hair, one foot, one hand, and one eye. He has on the fire a bald black singed pig which squeals continually. His wife is a hideous woman named Cuichil.
Fer Caille greets and entices Conaire, the high chieftain of Ireland, on his way to Da Derga's hostel.
