Glæsisvellir

"Gleaming fields." A legendary paradisal kingdom located in the northeast, according to various legendary sagas (fornalaldarsögur). It contains a region called Ódáinsakr or Údáinsakr, "Deathless acre", which made everyone who visited it young and healthy. The latter place is also mentioned by Danish historian Saxo Grammaticus in his Gesta Danorum, and in Eireks saga víðförla.

In Hervarar saga Glæsisvellir is ruled over by king Guðmundr.
