Glaistig of Breachacha

The glaistig that haunted old Breachacha Castle, on the island of Coll, was in size like a lump of a lassie (cnapach caileig), and had white hair like a tuft of flax (gibeag lìn), a long as herself. She put the house in order when strangers were to come. Guests getting up through the night were led astray by her, so that they were unable to find their way back to bed again, and she is even accused of mistreating strangers, but let those she knew alone.
