Hamadryas

The sister of Oxylus, son of Orius. Oxylus and Hamadryas had eight daughters — Aegeirus, Ampelus, Balanus, Carya, Craneia, Morea, Ptelea, and Syke. These were called hamadryads, and many trees derive their names from them.
