Hnoss

"Treasure." A daughter of Freyja and Óðr, and the sister of Gersemi, according to Ynglinga saga. They were so very beautiful that afterwards the most precious jewels were called by their names (hnossir). Snorri Sturluson mentions only Hnoss as the daughter of Freyja and Óðr.

In the Nafnaþulur, Hnoss is listed among the Ásynjur, but nowhere else. A kenning for Freyja is Mother of Hnoss.
