Járngreipr

"Iron grippers." The iron gloves of the god Thor, which he needs to handle his hammer Mjöllnir. It is one of his three crucial possessions, according to Gylfaginning:

Yet a third thing he has, in which there is much virtue: his iron gloves; he cannot do without them when he uses his hammer-shaft.

They are also referred to as Járnglófar ("iron gauntlets").
