Javan

The fourth son of Japheth, and brother of Gomer, Magog, Madai, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. His sons were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

It was traditionally believed that his descendants settled in Greece, i.e., Ionia, which bears the name of Javan in Hebrew. In Greek mythology, the eponymous ancestor of the Ionians is called Ion.
