Linkanan and Lampagan
Linkanan and Lampagan and the children of the first three people (see Lakbang). They themselves became the parents of two birds — the kalau and sabītan. These flew away and returned with bits of soils, which Linkanan and Lampagan patted and moulded with their hands until they had created the earth. Other children were born to them and from them have come the various peoples that inhabit the Philippines.
The formation of the earth was witnessed by Timanem and Dīwata, and when it was completed Timanem planted trees upon it.
