Loch Ness monster
The Loch Ness monster is a large creature alleged to live in Loch Ness, a deep lake in northwestern Scotland, in the Great Glen. Reports of the creature's existence date from the sixth century.
The creature, informally named Nessie, is a cryptid, an animal whose existence has been suggested but has not been discovered or documented despite years of scientific expeditions.
