"Stooped." A jötunn, slain by Thor, according to a verse by the skaldic poet Þorbjörn dísarskáld and quoted by Snorri Sturluson in Skáldskaparmál.

Lútr is also the name of one of the children of Þræll and Thír, the ancestors of the race of thralls.
