Lyco

A daughter of King Dion of Laconia and Iphitea, the daughter of Prognaus. She and her sisters Carya and Orphe received the gift of prophecy from Apollo. When she and Orphe attempted to stop Dionysus from visiting Carya, they were seized with raging madness, and having gone to the heights of Taygetus, were metamorphosed into rocks.
