Periergus

The son of Triopas and brother of Phorbas. After their father's death Phorbas went to Ialysus on Rhodes, while Periergus and his companions landed in the territory of Camirus. It is said that on that occasion Periergus cursed Phorbas, and for that reason the islands between Cnidus and Syme are called Araeae.
