Sicyon

A hero from Attica, variously mentioned as a son of Marathon, or Metion, or Erichthonius, or Pelops. He was an ally of Lamedon in the war with the sons of Achaeus. Lamedon made him king and give his daughter Zeuxippe to be his wife. Their daughter is Chthonophyle.

The town of Sicyon, which before him was called Mecone or Aegialoe, was said to have received its subsequent name from him.
