Acesius
A surname of Apollo under which he was worshiped at Elis, where he had a splendid temple in the agora. The surname characterizes Apollo as the averter of evil, and has the same meaning as Acestor (ἀκέστωρ) and Alexicacus (ἀλεξίκακος).
