Astygites

The brother of Aspalis. When the tyrant Meliteus ordered her abduction she hanged herself instead. Astygites disguised himself as his sister and put on her clothes, beneath which he hid a sword, and when Meliteus' men came he allowed himself to be taken. He was brought before Meliteus and when they were alone, Astygites killed him. Astygites then became king himself.
