Brahmadaitya

The spirit of a murdered Brahman (priest). In Bengal, these spirits are powerful and malicious. They sometimes appear as headless trunks with eyes looking from the breasts. They can however be harmless and even well-disposed toward humans. Some says the Brahmadaityas are the ghosts of Brahmans who die unmarried.
