Elel

In the belief of the Puelche Indians of Argentina, Elel is malevolent demonic being. He is responsible for causing storms, illnesses, and death. Elel also plays a part in the initiation ceremonies. It is said that he is the chief of an innumerable crowd of demonic beings, the balichù.
