Gná

A minor Norse goddess, listed by Snorri Sturluson among the Ásynjur. She is the handmaiden and messenger of Frigg, and possesses the horse Hófvarpnir which runs over sky and sea. From Gná's name that which soars high is said to gnæfa ("to project").
