Gorgophone

"Gorgon-killer." The daughter of Perseus. After the death of her first husband, Perieres, whom she married when a virgin, she married Oebalus, and thus became the first woman to marry a second time. She was the mother of Aphareus and Leucippus by Perieres, and of Tyndareus, Hippocoon, Icarius, and Arene by Oebalus.
