Hai Riyo

In Japanese legend, a fabulous creature that has the body of a bird and bird's claws and wings, but with the head of a dragon. Its image can be found on screens in the Chi-on-in monastery in Kyoto. The creature is also known as Schachi Hoko and Tobi Tatsu.
