Harðgreip

"Hard-grip." A giantess or troll woman listed among the trollkvinna in the Nafnaþulur section of Skáldskaparmál.

In the Gesta Danorum, Hardgrep (Harthgrepa) and her father Wagnhofde (Wagnofthus) were the two giants who raised Hadingus. While trying to save him, she is torn in pieces by her kindred.
