"Possession", "Smith." The fourth antediluvian patriarch, the eldest son of Enos, and a grandson of Seth. He was 70 years old at the birth of his eldest son Mahalalel, after which he lived 840 years, and was 910 years old when he died.

The Book of Jubilees1 mentions Noam as his mother, and Mualeleth, his sister, as his wife.
