Mahalalel

"Praise of God." The son of Cainan, and the fourth generation descendant of Adam and Eve. He is the father of Jared and the grandfather of Enoch II. He lived for 895 years.

The Book of Jubilees1 mentions his cousin Dinah, the daughter of Barakiel, as his wife, and the mother of Jared.
