kràsyy

A spirit that likes to eat raw meat and excrement, but it is especially fond of women who have just given birth and have tiny pink babies. It will try to enter a woman's belly and devour her entrails and that of her baby. The kràsyy spirits fear thorns more than the other spirits and spreading these around the house offers protection.

It is said that one old kràsyy spirit had no children or grandchildren to accept the heritage of becoming a kràsyy, and so she had to have a cat accept it instead.
