Lævateinn

"Wounding wand." The name of a legendary weapon, a twig, that Loptr once plucked near the doors of death. It lies in Lægjarn's chest, which is fastened by nine locks, and which is kept by Sinmara. It is the only weapon capable of slaying the cock Víðópnir, but Sinmara will only award it to the one who brings her Víðópnir's tail feather.

Loptr and Lægjarn ("Lover of ill") are names for Loki.
