The mhor phi are Thai spirit doctors. They help people to get rid of ghosts, reveal the future, remove curses, and gain the love of a desired person. They have what is called palang chit ("spirit power"). Nowadays they are called khon song (Thai คนทรง), "invoker", "psychic," "medium," etc.
