Mungangana

A sky spirit and culture hero. He lived originally on earth among men, taught them all they know regarding their material and cultural needs — how to make nets, implements, canoes, and weapons — and withdrew to the heavens. He manifests his will through the aurora borealis. His adopted son Tundun was the ancestor of the Kurnei tribe.
