Obizuth

A demoness that strangles children, according to the Testament of Solomon (58). She does not sleep but goes her rounds all over the world and visits women in childbirth. At the divine hour she attempts to strangle the child, but if she fails she goes to another place for she cannot for a single night retire unsuccessful.

She appeared bright and greeny, with hair tossed wildly like a dragon's, but her limbs were invisible and covered by darkness. Solomon ordered her hair to be bound and had her hung up in front of the Temple of God.
