Parthenos

"The virgin." A daughter of Staphylus and Chrysothemis, and sister of Molpadia and Rhoeo. Molpadia and Parthenos jumped into the sea to escape the wrath of Staphylus, but Apollo, because of his affection for their sister Rhoeo, rescued them and made them divinities. Parthenos was worshiped in the Carian town of Bubastos (see Bubastos).

According to others, she was a daughter of Apollo and Chrysothemis, who after her premature death was placed by her father among the stars.1
