Pyrgo

The nurse of Priam's children. She followed Aeneas on his journeys and came with him to Sicily, where he held the funeral games for his father. It was during this occasion that the Trojan women were induced by Beroƫ, whose appearance the goddess Iris had assumed, to set fire to Aeneas' ships. They were discovered by Pyrgo who realized that this was not the real Beroƫ.
