Therapne

The daughter of Lelex and Cleochareia. The town of Therapne, across the river Eurotas and east of Sparta, was named for her. In this town Menelaus had a temple, and it was where he and Helen were buried. Polydeuces had a sanctuary on the road to Therapne, and a temple of Dioscuri stood not far from Therapne, in place called Phoebaeum.
