"Strength-yeller." The name of a jötunn. in Vafþrúðnismál, the giant Vafþrúðnir says that Þrúðgelmir was the son of Aurgelmir and father of Bergelmir. He is mentioned in the list of giants in the Nafnaþulur section of Skáldskaparmál.
