Veðrfölnir
"Wind-witherer." In Gylfaginning, the figure of Hárr says that an eagle sits in the limbs of Yggdrasil, who has understanding of many things; and between the eagle's eyes sits the hawk that is called Veðrfölnir. A squirrel named Ratatoskr runs up and down the length of Yggdrasil, bearing envious words between the eagle at the top and the serpent Níðhöggr at the bottom.
