Viði
In the eddic poem Grímnismál, Odin enumerates a number of mythical locations, the twelfth of which is Viði, the home of Viðarr. It is a land filled with growing trees and high-standing grass.
- O'ergrown with branches
- and high grass
- is Vidar's spacious Landvidi:
- There will the son descend,
- from the steed's back,
- bold to avenge his father.
It is not mentioned elsewhere.
