Acanthis

The daughter of Autonous and Hippodamia, and sister to Anthus, Erodius, and Schoenous. Autonous' horses attacked Anthus out of hunger and ate him, and Zeus and Apollo, who pitied the grieving family, turned them all into birds. Acanthis became the thistle finch.
