Alcyonides

The daughters of Alcyoneus, one of the Gigantes. After his death his daughters threw themselves into the sea and were changed into ice birds. They are Alcippe, Anthe, Asteria, Drimo, Methone, Pallene, and Phthonia (Chthonia).
