Carme

A Cretan woman, a daughter of Eubulus, who by Zeus became the mother of Britomartis. Later she was taken as a slave and became the nurse of Scylla, the daughter of king Nisus of Megara.

Antoninus Liberalis1 describes her as a grand-daughter of Agenor, and daughter of Phoenix.
