Chao Mae Tuptim

A Thai deity who has the power to induce fertility. She is said to reside in a venerable banyan tree in the Nai Lert Park, Bangkok. Her shrine is visited by many young women seeking to become pregnant. They present the usual flowers and incense, but also wooden phalluses of all sizes. If their wish is fulfilled they will return and place another phallus at the shrine.
