Faðir and Móðir
Faðir ("Father") and Móðir ("Mother") were third and the last couple visited by the mysterious wanderer Rígr on his travels. They invited him into their splendid home and served him excellent food. They too let him sleep between them in their bed for three nights. Nine months later Móðir gave birth to Jarl — the ancestor of the race of nobles. Rígr later came back for Jarl to claim him as his son.
