Fárbauti

"Cruel-striker." A jötunn, the father of Loki by Laufey or Nál, and presumably also the father of Loki's brothers Býleistr and Helblindi. In the fourteenth-century narrative Sörla þáttr he appears as a peasant and Loki is his only child.

A kenning for Loki is Son of Fárbauti and Laufey, and in a verse by Úlfr Uggason he is called Fárbauti's sin-sly offspring.
