Hlér

"Sea." Another name for Ægir, according to Fundinn Noregr and Skáldskaparmál. He dwelt on the island called Hlér's Isle (Hlésey, now Læsø) and was deeply versed in black magic.

Hlér also appears as the offspring of the frost-giant Fornjótr.
